When looking for materials, I like to check out business supply stores and specialty shops. I found this necktie fabric, which isn't commonly available, at a school uniform shop in India. I made a shopping bag-shaped bag using the lightweight and durable material, but the handles were difficult to cut, and I inevitably had leftover fabric. I decided to use that leftover fabric to make a pouch as well.

The edges of the fabric are partially finished with an overlock stitch. Over time, the overlock stitching and the edges of the fabric may fray. There may be some weaving flaws or loose threads in the fabric. Also, there may be some minor stains (see the last image).
