This bag caught my eye as soon as I arrived at Mumbai airport from rural India. The size of the bag and the color of the fabric are very impressive. This fabric is often seen in India, but I have never seen such a good color. I immediately found a factory.
A few months later, I was thinking about what to make by comparing the sample fabric that arrived with this image and confirming that it was generally the same. If you try to make a bag with only this fabric, it will inevitably end up being "cute". That's why I wanted to give it an industrial impression. The prototype made the handle with iron. It looked good, but it was heavy and hard to use, so I decided to make the handle out of aluminum. I also decided to use a water hose to protect the handle.
